Always delicious - hotspot in Cologne!

We were last there for breakfast. So the bread alone is worth the visit. Very tasty goods made with love. The prices are perfectly okay for the effort. The only thing I don't like so much is the volume at breakfast. It's more like a big canteen. So pretty loud.

I liked it here very much. We had omelets and Strammen Max, very tasty, including the dressing for the side salad. Delicious coffee and very friendly service. I think it's very good that the bread, which was too much, can be taken away in the enclosed bread bag. Great idea. I would love to come back ?

Ideal brunch to go in small groups. Homemade food and well-prepared coffee.

Nicely decorated, but sometimes quite noisy at busy times. The cakes are delicious and the selection is more than enough. At the "bread counter" there is a selection of snacks and baked goods to take away. These are very good too. It is not a classic baker and therefore you get a little less selection of rolls and breads than in the branches of the usual chains. As far as I know, sandwiches are not on offer here either. But that's not what this café is designed for. I love going there and can recommend it overall!

A must if you want to have a good breakfast in Cologne. Lots of choice and delicious food. Relaxed atmosphere in the inner courtyard, especially in summer. An institution in Cologne!

After explaining that I was deathly allergic to eggplant and tomato my sandwich came with grilled eggplant on it. They remade it and the second time it came with a side of tomato salsa on the plate that had spilled on the sandwich. Allergies are important, you should get it right the first time. But still failing the second time is incomprehensible.

Perfect atmosphere!

Very nice staff. I am always at peace. Above all, a man with a tattooed arm and a black beard struck me as particularly competent and friendly. The food is prepared in a diverse and healthy, hygienic, conscious and tasty way. The bread that was left over from my menu was given to me again and again with every visit, which I found particularly great! I assume that the shift supervisor is a nice blonde lady who competently carries out her work with will energy. GREAT MANAGEMENT! GREAT TEAM!

The breads and rolls are simply unbeatable, so great breakfast. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is not that cozy and very loud due to the lack of soundproofing. Still gladly again.

Food is just so so. There are so many bees outside, which totally destroyed our breakfast. The food is quiet expansive. The waiters seem so busy that we wait so long time to check. We ask one waitress to check out but he said we need to Wait his coworker, in this way, we are waiting nearly 10mints.

Best bee sting and delicious bread. Always well attended and therefore a bit noisy. But a clear recommendation.

Good and rich breakfast menu with a very good price-performance ratio. The "normal" gourmet breakfast could be shared (in terms of the number of people) with two people. On top of that, there is the friendly staff and a good central location. We'd love to do it again next time you visit Cologne!

Rich breads and bills. They only accept cash in hand. It would be ideal if they accepted cards. The quality is very good

A good spot for breakfast. Or cake. Or both. Only downside was that it’s cash only (or German debit card) but there’s an ATM next door.

One of the best places in Colony, they are kids friendly, service and food good ?. Of course some people I noticed they are not paccient waiting two three minutes, but they loose because the place is very good.

The potato soup was a bit salty and the tomato and goulash soup was delicious !!! If you like tomatoes, eat tomatoes or gorilla soup with soy sauce ~~~ I had a latte and coffee but the coffee is delicious !! I'm going to eat hot breakfast from 8:00 in the morning :-D

Had a good breakfast here. This place is packed so there might be a queue. Kind waiter and good atmosphere. "Fresh" croissants didn't seem that fresh though; rather frozen.

Delicious deserts and very tasty breakfast options. The only negative is that the store is always crowded and thus full with noise

This place has something magic for those who love bakeries . It lies in the simplicity but carefully chosen interior decor and comes with delicious bread and foodstuff ....must see it for yourself

It’s great place for a breakfast/late breakfast. They have delicious cheeses. Had hot milk and honey, it was also delicious. Prices are fair. You can easily get there from the Köln central station. It is 10-15 minutes by walking.

Verry crowded place....we went on a sunday. Yu need to rush to get that place. But if yu do get that try a salad. It was good but I think they are more known for the bakery. So next time I'll try the bakery.

Fantastic place for late breakfast. Amazing food, large portions, variety of cheese and fresh bread, great personnel. That was the best breakfast in Germany.

Very nice place for breakfast. There is a wide variety to choose from and the food is great. They even give you a paper bag to take the left over bread with you, very great idea! Thumbs up

Pros: the cakes!!! I couldn’t decide which to pick, they all look delicious, are fairly priced and you get a big piece. The coffee is good too. Cons: the breakfast meals. A piece of focaccia with some lettuce or a slice of bread with two eggs is hardly worth 8€ (each).

Bread is supremely good. Breakfast proportions are obscene. Alot of wastage. Most of options are easily shareable.

food its authentic and really good, if you are a cake lover this is where you wanna go! but the place it’s lacks in atmosphere, it’s super noisy and enlightened with terrible artificial light. a lot of groups and families with screaming kids are going there for lunch..so maybe it’s an option to choose for unusual timing.
